And didn't leave a note or any contact information. Prior to this, my car had no body damage.

We need /c/incrediblyinfuriating, this is much more than mildly infuriating.

Tough luck.

Came in here to say this, I'd be really upset lol

I am so upset. There are no words. But there was no other community.

With the early days of lemmy and the non-specific communities for infuriating content means I definitely allow it

Depends on how the rest of the car looks. If it's a 15 year old beater I get the "mildly".

We also got sideswiped last weekend. Tried to file a police report and they didn’t seem eager to find out who did it. Just doing paperwork for insurance so that my rates can go up later

Walmart parking lots are the worst. I don't know what it is about them but I've seen more fender benders, sideswipes, keyings, and parking lot rage there than anywhere else.

I hate Walmart, but have to shop there because it's the only grocery store within reasonable distance of my house. Hopefully I won't live here much longer.

May I suggest looking into the WalMart+ program? It's like $15/mo and you get free delivery, including next-day grocery orders. If you're fortunate enough to be able to afford the Amex Platinum card, paying for the monthly sub fee is one of the benefits.

I think the Game Pass comes with a free 2 or 3 month trial, too.

Their website takes some getting use to, but of the various online grocery shopping websites, theirs is legitimately one of the better ones.

I think I can see tears in your reflection.

Had something like this happen when I was an actual employee at sam's club years ago. They couldn't find it on camera because the camera didn't cover the whole lot and was terrible quality...

This happened to my 1965 ford thunderbird. A giant dent over the whole body panel. Previously pristine original panel. No note or anything. People are horrible.

Happened to me at an airport parking lot. Parked pretty far away but someone put a boot into the door. I was trying to sell that car too. Ended up selling it to Carvana and they didn’t care.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

Not sure I would consider that to be mildly infuriating.

Does Walmart have parking lot cameras. Surely, you could ask for CCTV footage.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

I came here to comment the same thing.

Often times businesses won't just release CCTV footage to just anyone but if you call the police to report the incident 99% of the time they will give access to the police.

It's possible that the cameras caught a license plate.
