Boba Fett in Legends had that, where he could see 360°

Actors wore those helmets though were they not able to see with them? No wonder they had such bad aim!

I may be misremembering but I think there was an unscripted line Luke's actor said in the original trilogy where he complained about the costume and they just decided to keep it in.
