Open question for @sydney and #Sydney on Mastodon:

If the suburbs around Chatswood and Crows Nest are on the Lower North Shore, and the area around Hornsby is the Upper North Shore, then what's Ryde?

Anything west of the Lane Cove River / Lane Cove National Park is not the North Shore

I've seen Ryde called the North West but it's not that far north or west
