Drive-thru bank pneumatic box slot
Edit: ok so apparently everyone except me is somehow stuck in the 1980s. And presumably buying betmax players so they can watch Robocop
my bank still uses pneumatic tubes for drive through. not really a viable alternative.
One of the weed stores near me uses pneumatic tubes to deliver the requested product from the "vault" to the cashier stations. There are like 15 stations and the tubes are clear and the capsules look like hamsters. It's pretty cute.
An ATM
I have never seen a bank that would install 6-10 atms for each lane of their drive through.
And ATMs charge fees, which you don't pay if you use the teller.
which is why bank drive throughs usually have an atm on the side for quick withdrawls, then a bunch of pneumatic tube lanes for anything more complicated.
Wtf
What do they use at the drive through where you live?
An ATM I think.
Wait, those are gone?
Apparently not. I am still shocked by this. Next people will be telling me via fax machine that they still visit their barber once a year for a good bleeding
Yeah, people kept using them to fill the bank with bees.
My bank still has pneumatic tubes for the tellers in the drive through.
Those are still in common use, though I wouldn't be surprised if it's mostly old people that use them... I can count on one hand the number of times I have to physically go to anything resembling a bank per year...
My god, a talking fetus!
Huh? Those machines are still out there? I haven't seen any since I was a small kid in a town of 300 people in the freaken woods.
All over. Midwest metro area.
Maybe you don't go to drive through banks anymore?
I remember about 10+ years ago when I used to do food service, I made use of this quite a lot to convert wads of nasty dollar bills into magical digital money hahaha.
