We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.
A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

...what does the report actually say?
Go to page 28. It validates the claim. They make a fraction of a cent more than white people per dollar. Something like .00007 cents more.
Firstly, I don't see why Microsoft lauds itself for its DEI initiatives based on a thousandth of a cent per $1000. Secondly, I also don't see why anyone would make anything out of this. It costs more to talk shit about it.
Actually it’s an impressive achievement. It shows parity.
It shows equity
No parity. People with similar skills and similar jobs should be paid similar money. Historically that hasn’t be true in tech. Black people were paid less. I looked at my own companies study and they had to do adjustment to get it to parity. Black workers from similar schools were paid less than their white peers with similar experience. While the company I work for pushes dei hard, they wanted to make sure everyone was paid fairly for their work and not skin color.
Equity means having the same outcome. In this case, pay.
No, equity is about paying people the same even if they don't meet the standard.
Equity is about paying people the same.
No, that isn't true at all. Looks at the boxes in the cartoon.
Equality is giving everyone the same box. That is what Microsoft did.
Equity: they give people more boxes, but that isn't what Microsoft did.
Are you trying to argue that Microsoft shouldn't black people the same as white people?
Here is a cartoon I hate but it shows the difference.

What Microsoft did is give everyone that same box. That is parity. That is equality.
The boxes do not represent money in the picture. They represent opportunity, ie infrastructure and legal system.
