Zumindest laut Smartbroker-Chef Thomas Soltau in dem Video hier. Eine andere Quelle hab ich auf die Schnelle nicht gefunden. Er verweist auf diesen Abschlussbericht der Fokusgruppe private Altersvorsorge, aber das ist schon eine Weile her. Scheint mir im Grunde um zwei Ideen zu gehen:

Riester-ähnlich Einzahlungen ins Depot von der Steuer abschreiben.
Steuerfrei bei längerer Haltedauer.
