I don't often get into debates about gossip, but when someone says a female actor/director/writer/artist is toxic, I'm always like were they actually a shit human or did they simply ask for the same respect their male colleague/s were getting or potentially did they even just act like a human being for five seconds.

I understand where you're coming from, and it is tricky. That said, there are plenty of toxic men and women in the arts. Best thing to do is read up and check your sources I guess.

Who sets up the rules for what toxic is? And who determines what the punishment should be? And who voted them in?
