TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Hating someone off of their race, culture, creed, sexuality, or identity is not remotely acceptable. Mistakes can happen but do your best to respect others.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon' and fuck over our artist friends.
Fun will now commence.

It is a single curse word.
Way too vague and I'm not sure what you mean
Which is a visual and stylistic choice to represent something specific in the story that changes as the story changes. Season 2 onwards is incredibly bright.
Again, incredibly vague and I have no idea what you mean
Which are overridden for the second season where they look way closer to normal.
See this is stuff that the video is explicitly talking about. A lot of complaints made about Discovery that don't seem to be based on anything. The Klingon look I get and the visual dark look of the show I disagree with but get. Everything else though? I'm just not sure where it's coming from.
And we've had 'fuck' used in Picard more than once. I don't remember swearing in SNW, but I wouldn't be shocked to hear it.
I mean we didn't have swearing in TOS or 80s/90s/00s Trek because it was on broadcast TV. This should just be a duh thing.
There is an ep of Voyager where you can clearly see B'Elanna Torres mouthing "fuck!" when she gets caught doing something she ain't supposed ta. Always loved that for her.
People seriously get so caught up in their pedantry, they forget where they came from. Please dismount that high-horse that you have no business being on.
Edit: in case you're wondering about the deleted comment under this, I was told to walk out of an airlock.
First off, your convergence thing is just dumb. You're trying to apply your own logical progression of what evolution is to something that doesn't exist. Also you're ignoring the fact that there was a virus that was given to the Klingons to change their looks.
Second, you are the one with toxic spewback here. They were being sarcastic but you went to an insane fucking level (see point 3). Not remotely allowed in this community which is why your comment is being removed.
Third, you just suggested someone kill themselves. Not remotely allowed in this community which is why you've been banned for 7 days. Take a timeout and don't come into this community with that energy again, please.
