What's stopping me from fully adopting Mastodon is that there's barely anyone you can follow. I suppose as a microblogging journal only for you to see, it works (and I'm already doing that). But as a rapid-fire instantaneous news source, it's likely not going to take off.
I'm already seeing a ton of people moving to Threads (even Adrian Wojnarowski). Sure, I expect that sooner or later it's going to be ruined by suggested tweets (ano nga ba tawag ng Threads sa mga posts? lol) and advertising fuckery, but for now I'm digging the clean UI and snappy mobile app that I used to love in Twitter's third-party apps and pre-Elon BS.
Lalo na kung hanap ng mga content creator is more support, need talaga post sa big social media. Pwede rin magpost ka sa multiple sites including mastodon. Pati NBA and NASA parati active sa Mastodon, yun nga lang autobot sila pero pwede na basta madami mareach ng content nila
