Like the benefits of RCS to sms, there are advantages of using iMessage vs sms
Google can use rcs and does. Apple is purposefully being childish about it to make iMessage seem better.
The point is that you made it sound like there are 0 advantages than just bubble color. There are advantages to using iMessage on Android
Ofc they both have massive advantages to SMS, they were both built in the 21st century. SMS is over 30 years old at this point.
RCS vs iMessage however, RCS is a standard put out by GSMA, and iMessage is closed completely.
