Did Karma really matter that much in Reddit? (geddit.social)

Honestly, nobody even looks at other people's Karma. I didn't care much about it. Did people really care so much baout Karma that they mourn about it here, or miss it, or used to farm it?

Sorry if the tone sounds judgemental, but I'm just wondering.

I used to look at karma combined with user age to judge how serious I should take people I was talking with. If people are under, say, 2k combined karma, then it's probably a burner/troll/bot account

Besides that, it felt good to see numbers go brr I guess
