Hurling ordure at the TREACLES, especially those closely related to LessWrong.
AI-Industrial-Complex grift is fine as long as it sufficiently relates to the AI doom from the TREACLES. (Though TechTakes may be more suitable.)

So he is claiming this is 'they are trying to do regulatory capture' is all run and suddenly started by a billionaire, and not the women/poc who started talking about this stuff years ago (I assume Doctorow has also written about it). Typical.
He also doesn't get that the rich people who fund him/promote him are also doing that because he is a useful idiot. If I was trying to do regulatory capture (and trying to drive attention away from just how racist my ML stuff is for example) I would promote people like Yud, who have a decades old track record. A smart rich person would even fund various small strongly ideologically minded groups like Yud (and the NRx for example) with some throw away money just because they might be useful in the future. Just as rich people donate to both democrats and republicans.
Anyway his N for 'rich billionaires funding this' is 1. Bad Rationalist, no pets for you!
