Actually there was an app called lemmur but it got discontinued. One second liftoff is the fork of lemmur? Interesting.

Yep, Zach and I independently found the codebase and started developing an Android and an iOS take based on it. As soon as we discovered we were working in parallel we realised we should be working together, and so Liftoff! was born.
