I think I'm going to have to buy a PS5 for Spider-Man 2 and while I'm at it, a new monitor. I run 32" and 27" 4K monitors on my desk but I don't really need dual monitors these days for work. I use the 32" for gaming (I've been playing Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PC this week) but neither monitor is built for gaming. I bought them before I really played many games. I thought about getting an ultrawide for the PC but now I'm thinking about a Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 which is a 32" curved monitor to replace both monitors. I can use it for work, PC gaming and console gaming. If I wanted to go down the full PC gaming path I'd need to build a new PC because my CPU is getting a bit old now (i5-8600K CPU @ 3.60GHz, overclocked to 4.90GHz) even though I have a 3080 Ti GPU, it needs a brain/motherboard upgrade.

I've been hesitant to look at the current gen consoles because I own a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X which I basically never use. I should just sell the 2 monitors and the 2 consoles then buy a PS5 and the G8 I think.

Anybody running a G8? Thoughts on the plan?
