Is it Chromium based?
Couldn't find the answer around the web, but here's their blog post about the browser!

It uses Microsofts WebView2, which is chromium. Also it neither block ads nor support any extension.
But why? That seems stupid. Who wants privacy and ads shown?
It’s still in beta. Extension support is coming, it’s in the article in OP.
It looks like it’s fully in house. They say it’s not a fork of any browser and that everything was made by their team
