I've managed to kill about 85% of the cacti and succulents I got a couple of years ago, yet somehow this one continues to thrive. It arrived to me with a flower, and this is now its third year bloomin (media.kbin.social)

Congrats on the bloom. The best way I've heard it said is that thoy thrive on neglect. Forget to water them for a week or two, good. Don't water them until the soil has completely dried out.

That advice is definitely valid for a lot of these plants, but it also killed a few of mine 😂 I've had to learn to read the signs for each of my surviving plants lol
