Imagine using Snapchat in 2023... I thought the teen fad already ended before COVID?
I like Snapchat, it encourages video communications really well. Of course many other platforms have video, but the fact that by default, there's not going to be a saved log of you being dumb on video really gets people to engage. I know it's possible to save snaps and other platforms have a 'delete after' option for video. But Snapchat just makes it so easy to send a dumb snap to a friend and really inconvenient for them to share it with someone you don't want.
Snaps can be saved anyway, and Snapchat forever holds your intimate photos and videos hostage, and their employees even watch it for leisure. So if you like being Xvideos material to others, probably a good idea to use Snapchat. Also, its location based snooping among friends is popular as well, which is batshit insane.
I would have deleted it long ago but I would lose contact with so many people, including a few good friends
If they're good friends, they can download a competent messenger
Friends who cannot use more than 1 app mutually are not real friends. I learnt that lesson myself, and my yesteryear collegemate and I mutually discarded each other over this.
I'd love to get rid of snapchat but it's my best friend's favourite method of communication. Same for discord. And whatsapp for my family.
