Stop the Syncpissing! People should use $100 on better things, when Infinity, Connect and Jerboa work well.
Rise up against your Syncpressors! :P
I was mostly taking a piss at the hot topic, but I really do think it's a worthwhile purchase. I have tried nearly every other app and just wasn't able to do what I wanted with them.
I did take a look at Infinity at your suggestion and it does look darn good and come close to the features I want. Will be interested to see how it turns out. I would like customizations to make their compact view even more compact, I treat my reader like old school RSS. I like density!
Infinity was the best looking Reddit app, while RedReader and RIF were the most functional and text dense. This app is simply an alpha version of it directly by Infinity's developer, so if the alpha is this good, its only a matter of time till the beta drops in, making it almost ideally usable everyday.
RedReader dev also wanted to port his app to Lemmy, so that will be our text dense RIF style option soon. Till then we can use web app or these FOSS apps.
