UK Politics
General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both [email protected] and [email protected] .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
[email protected] appears to have vanished! We can still see cached content from this link, but goodbye I guess! :'(

Not an ethnic group but transgender people are the targets of genocide. It doesn't start with systematic killings. It ends there, and denying them medical treatment is already systemic killing, only indirect.
Edit: I'm not able to reply to this person's reply for some reason (did they block me?) so I instead paste it below:
We are currently on stages 3, 4 and 6 of genocide. The point is to identify them before they get to stage 9.

Genocide refers to the systemic forced killing or forced sterilisation of an ethnic group.
Transgender people in the United Kingdom are entitled to the same medical treatment as everybody else. They have a right to life and a right to reproduce and are not forcibly sterilised.
Genocide doesn't have to be killings or sterilisation. It can be any action with the intention of destroying a group, in whole or in part.
It also doesn't only apply to ethnic groups.
