Things are better. And when you hear Irish people criticise the British, we are mostly referring to the government. In fact, some British citizens abandoned relatively comfortable lives in the empire to fight for Irish independence. Eg, Countess Constance Marievicz. That said, there is still a way to go. All the best to you and yours.
Now the exported British are turning Nazis
It seems to be a constant regardless of nationality. Many “Irish” Americans have pulled the ladder up behind them too and oppress minorities, support the worst kind of politics etc. Given Irish history (and their claims to that identity) they should know better.
Now now old chap, just because we invited the concentration camp and started the eugenics movement of the early 20th century doesn't make us Nazi's.
I thought that it was the Spanish in Cuba who invented the concentration camp. Although both the UK and the US immediately thought, "great idea, let's do that!"
Oh, wow. Yes I looks like they beat us to it by about 3 years.
Well strike that off the list if British achievements.
