A lot of subs seem to be staying dark (https://lemmy.nz/post/43541), but seems like r/nz will be back at 4pm.

I don't think I'll be going back, although not deleting my account just yet.

Anyone planning on heading back there full time? (no judgement!)

Regarding your second paragraph, which other sources do you have? I used reddit for that as well, and also for reddits like /r/facepalm

Yep. Under someone's post, tap the three dots, then click the envelope button (assuming you're on the website).

You'll find chats and chat rooms on Matrix a lot more common on Lemmy, though (see side bar on home page).
