A community for discussing what is widely dubbed classical music, which is put simply, compositions for orchestral instruments, as well as historical music on more traditional instruments.
Suitable examples:
- Sumer is icumen in, a 13th century choral composition from Medieval England
- Koto Music (album) by Kimio Eto (1959)
- Symphony no. 2: Mysterious Mountain by Alan Hovhaness (1955)
Unsuitable:
- Nightswimming by R.E.M.
Film soundtracks will be allowed for now. However, it would be best to create another community for such posts.

Cool! What are the names of these instruments?
the two on the left are a sort of bassoon precursor (dulcian), the two on the right are racketts.

Check out this 3d printed one. So much bass from a small object!
