When you say "served with chicken stock" do you mean that's what's in the mug? Is this a dippin' situation or do people drink straight stock?

Its in the mug, people drink it because the outer crust of the kibin is thick and dry, so it goes well with it. The stock must be very rich in flavor so it would feal like having a soup.

Imagine having a soup for dinner but the mane dish is bread.

It's less strange the more I think about it. I guess I've always thought of chicken stock as an ingredient and not a thing you can just have, but I guess it is just sorta soup.

Got hit with a bad case of nori virus this spring, I was drinking chicken stock for days trying to get over it.

Has nutrients & works well with the BRAT diet they tell you to follow.

I’d never considered it anything more than ingredient until then, but I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t had the urge chug some chicken stock since I tried it.

Stock is great on its own, especially homemade gelatinized stuff you have to add water to.
