A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

If you ask me, I'm upset no one picked up that this consideration was sexist and racist, although it is indeed the best choice for her to win, which reflects how bad US can't get over race and gender.

I don't know man......sometimes politics DO do things that doesn't make sense.

In fact, most of politics these past 8 years have left me scratching my head.

this is true, politics and bureaucracy is weird.

to be fair, most of the last 8 years have been primarily due to trump being actually insane though. Outside of that, it's uh. Ok.
