I woke this morning to a leaking bathroom sink in my 5 year old house.
The stupid builders did not fit a drain (or waste) with an overflow so the water was pooling inside the sink cavity and causing corrosion.
I saw a replacement at The Warehouse for $30-something that did have an overflow but was crap. I kept driving to a professional plumbing supply and picked up a much better quality one for $40-something.
It was a good thing I had today off otherwise I would be brushing my teeth in someone else’s bathroom until Saturday.
Don't you just love Australia's "destruction" industry?
Sometimes I wonder if they don’t build houses shoddily so that The Warehouse stays in business selling $10 AliExpress crap with a 400% markup.
