TV Review. Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Series 7 ep.1. Amends. Such a moving performance by Kathryn Erbe as Detective Eames , a woman unwilling to open old wounds regarding the murder of her police officer husband 9 years ago. D'Onofrio is relentless using all his Sherlock Holmes skills to pursue the truth, even when it seems to hurt Eames. A doctor struggles with guilt, trying to atone and bring some kind of karmic justice by helping the poor

Explores how knowing the answers and justice can lead to healing.

Creature Comforts. Amazon. The Story of making All Creatures Great and Small. I put on this 2 decades old documentary hoping for a feel good doco about the making of a tv series I grew up watching in my early teens and loved.

It wasn't. It was more about the real life of the writer of the books, Alf Wight, and how his books revolutionised the treatment of pets.

I personally think the increase in living standards after WWII , giving people more disposable income to spend on pets, was a bigger factor. Pet owners were asking for treatment for all the TrickyWoos out there..

Anyway, it was still a good show. Just wish it had Robert Hardy and Peter Davison interviews.
