I live in Tennessee. The number of lives that Dolly Parton has changed for the better is immeasurable. The two things you're supposed to do as a Christian are to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself.
She loves her neighbors more than she loves herself. Anyone talking trash about Dolly is the worst kind of person.
Dolly Parton is the kind of saint the Catholic Church will never canonize.
My wife and I recently had a child. We came home the other day to a book in the mail; "The Little Engine That Could". It was sent by a foundation that Dolly either started or contributes heavily to. She chose that book as the introductory book because it reminds her of the struggles her father endured and overcame learning to read. Fuck whoever dispareges Dolly Parton in the neck with a rusty screwdriver.
I swear to god, Dolly Parton is going to enter the Christianity canon. 200 years from now, she'll be part of the Trinity.
I mean, full support, of course.
