Sadly yes, some even pay for premium and spend it on items for their avatar. Now, I remember Gaia:Online and I miss it, but no way should anyone be paying real money for cosmetics, for an avatar on a news aggregator ugh
I am allowed to judge, because I spent $2K over 3 years on League of Legends skins, from 2014-2017
I spend zero on computer games n/k
I haven't spent money on a video game in ages, and at the time I did that with LoL I had a full time job. No way I would ever do something like that again haha
