I tracked my rank in Standard ladder, mostly turtle pack, 8 player, same pack. Ranked came out on 9/5, starting at 1500 and I ended at 1700 on 9/30.

I’m mostly an arena player, mainly playing either the newest pack when it comes out or the weekly pack. I have a ton of games in turtle arena (1001 according to stats), but hadn’t played it in a while when ranked first came out. The first day of ranked was certainly pretty wild, I gained 70 elo in my first few games because most players seemed to be unfamiliar with versus and playing around your opponent. Then, as other players figured out some good strats I went on a pretty bad losing streak and got back to close 1500 again before figuring out how to consistently win in ranked.

I liked the idea of this weekly a lot, but the balance was off and the Strawberry strategy was way too dominant. And the lack of Waffles and/or Flying Squirrel made Toy strategies extremely frustrating.

I didn't have that much fun this week and am glad to see it go, to be honest.

While strawberry seems the easiest path to victory, it was fun to see if I could squeeze all three into a team. Sadly I never got a third Strawberry in the shop.

Framework laid out by Skoottie and works surprisingly consistently. Amass Hedgehogs early to get a bunch of draws, hard roll for Lioness as early as possible (use Stoat, Alpaca and lvl 2 Blobfish+Pill to get it leveled ASAP). When your shop is 50/50 you set up Catfish+Anglerfish and freeze waffles in the shop.

When you have your level 3 sloth, use Cuttlefish and/or Goose to break the 50/50 team deadlock and win.

Took maybe 3 attempts to get to the infinite tapir/mushroom/pill combo, probably rolled over 1000 times that game (24 gold for each pill), double lioness (level 3 and 2) early was key to staying alive in the late game

Tiger works on Swordfish at start-of-battle which kills itself so it can work on Snake behind the Jellyfish, and then both Snake and Tiger jump behind the Mushroom-Trex to work a third time.

Flying Squirrel with flashlight and puma(s) scaling is insane, toss in a pill+chameleon every so often and you get near 50/50 units instantly!
