This has probably been said, but if Trump were president, the Dems/libs and even the West more broadly would be more critical of the war crimes in Gaza. Trump is a bridge too far for libs. I don’t think they would line up in lock step with him like they did with Dubya after 911. And make no mistake they hated Bush with a passion that was almost Trump Derangement Syndrome levels. Now of course the quirky artist has been thoroughly rehabilitated.

I’ve listened to the latest the-podcast twice now and have never heard them be so careful, caveating and couching their points. This is not a criticism. It’s clear why and who they are doing it for.
