I've played Farenheit and Heavy Rain and read a bit about Cage, I feel I'd like his previous works more but I'll give it a try.

Every time I think about Usonian soldiers with PTSD I think how el Che or Castro were always perfectly good even though they had killed people. It's because they never enjoyed the violence applied on the imperialists, it was driven by a desire for freedom.

There were quite a few difference between the two matches, so you could see both. For me it was a beautiful day, England lost and Argentina won.

Nevertheless we are better than them.

Sounds like a deal between compradors and the imperialiasts, the libertarios will let them in gladly, no threat needed.

Yesterday I played Half Life: Uplink, it's the first demo for HL where it was still in a rougher state, and it was pretty good, at the time I would have had my mind blown by that.

Before commenting, be aware that the best one in my opinion, Drip, has been outdated for a year and something, it doesn't even support new version of Android after 10 I think. Then Log28 has not been updated for more than 2 years and Periodical for one and a something, plus its GUI is really ugly.

So, basically there's no option to track your period while being private now?

I found this option which looks nice and all, but it's a really new project and it's lacking features right now. Hope it grows to be something good, though.

So I upgraded my PC a bit last year which ended up in my having 2 now since I went for an AMD and I have some spare cabinets and RAMs. Well, thing is, my other machine has these specs:

Motherboard: MSI H110M PRO-VH PLUS
Processor: Intel Pentium G4560 3.50 GHz
Cabinet: Sentey Slim SS1-2426
Hard Drive: I think it is a Seagate 1TB
RAM Memory: Kingston Fury Beast DDR4 KF432C16BB/8

I would like to run any of the following, multiple if possible:

  • A Lemmy instance
  • A private tracker
  • A Matrix instance

So what do you say? Is it good enough for any of this shit or is it a piece of junk? I've been using it to play video games but with another 8gb of ram and it worked okay-ish.

I've downloaded the cores, but when I choose my folder it simply doesn't read my roms, I've tried the Steam version, the .deb version, multiple Linux flavours, it just doesn't want to work. It looks like a really nice piece of software but it refuses to let me play.

So I'm trying to make a list of numbers that are multiples of 3, this is my code:

multiples_of_3 = []
for value in range(3, 31):
    number = value % 3 == 0
    multiples_of_3.append(number)

print(multiples_of_3)

But it transforms the results into booleans, which throws me a list with false and trues instead of numbers, what I'm doing wrong? I know comprehension lists exist and that this could be done more efficiently but well, I'm trying to learn and writing it as a comprehension list doesn't make it easier.

I am reading the Anti-Dühring by Engels, in it he proves the false arguments of the person who the book is named after. Engels goes from a varied array of subjects from philosophy, to biology, chemistry, physics, and so on.

At some point, Engels, while correcting Dühring, speaks about the theories of the beginning of existence and points out that Dühring is a supporter of creationism, e.i.: that there was a point where there was only nothing (absolute rest) and that out of this nothing, something came to be (motion). The only logical conclusion to an outlook like the one proposed is the existence of a God, which Düring rejects.

My question would be as following, what is the Marxist take on this, because if we assume the previous mentioned, we need to either accept the existence of God, or to believe there is some sort of unknown scientific law that allows the creation of motion out of absolute rest. Both seem very unlikely.

A third option is that time and matter have always existed since infinity, and that they will keep on existing until infinity. Which is the option that makes the most sense from the point of view of dialectical materialism.

From my understanding, though, neither of these three theories can be understood as "bad infinities" (in the Hegelian jargon), since they do not represent a contradiction in itself.

Do we have scientific proof that further discredits any of these three possibilities?
