Just imagine if Taylor Swift could be convinced to speak out publicly against colonialism in general, and in support of Palestine in particular. I'm not joking or making light of the situation. I really think that her influence could single-handedly cripple the Israeli government's propaganda efforts.

Seeing this sort of very-recent combat footage is always so surreal to me. Some of this stuff, if I saw it in a hollywood movie, I would dismiss as over-the-top unrealistic - bordering on darkly comedic at times. Yet it's all as real and as serious as a heart attack.
No, no, you see, the Israeli government is the heroic side because they want the status quo. Only villains want to ever change anything ever. Heroes want to keep things as they are, forever.
Are Brits "rain Danes"?
By "restoring security" he means land grabs.
Hey, there's nothing wrong with wanting a little "breathing room". It's totally normal in the context of fighting genocide accusations.
I've found tiktok to be surprisingly good for leftist and anti-colonialism content. Of course the trick is to make extensive use of the like button and the block-keyword list.
I really believe that if Lenin were alive today he'd be a prolific tiktok poster. Going to where the working class is, whether physically or in media, and being a highly skilled plain-language writer/orator was his entire M.O. Those are skills that translate very well to short-form documentary video.
I’d have more respect if aristocrats still wore tights and wood shoes and powdered wigs - basically like medieval Europe or Hunger Games. At least then you’d visibly differentiate yourself from the dirty poors.
If I were some sort of eccentric monarch, I'd force my court to dress in TNG starfleet uniforms. And I'd be the captain.
My palace's rooms would be patterned like those on the Enterprise-D in terms of visual style. The reception hall would be a re-creation of Ten-Forward. And my main offices would be laid out exactly like deck one of the Enterprise-D. Small meetings would be held in the conference room. Teleconferencing work would be done on the bridge, where I would sit in the captain's chair and have the most kick-ass Zoom setup ever. Private meetings would be held in the ready room, where I could chew out aristocrats engaging in awful behaviour by yelling at them that they're not upholding the principles of the Federation and Starfleet.
Yemen's sass game is on point.
Is there a possibility of the citizenry of Egypt feeling additional economic pain with the reduction in transit fees, and a risk of them blaming Yemen? Or is the citizenry so exploited by the ruling class that they never saw those benefits in the first place, and aren't much worse off with the new situation?
Because they're still brutally exploiting their African colonies.
