The content, ~5k words, 23k characters with spaces. I was able to make a short post but copying/pasting over the long ones seems to not go through. I shortened it until it posted, and the limit is somewhere between 2k words and 1371 words, the 1371 word one being able to be posted.

I am trying to move some of my posts from my community on reddit to here, and they are very long. I am able to post short posts, but not long ones. It gives me that spinning circle after I hit post, and I have waited 10 minutes and it hasn't posted. Works great for shorter things. Is there a character limit im hitting or maybe a spam filter since everything of mine is new?

When restore files from discs with Index Files, files and folders will be restored back on to the hard drive in the original structure. NOTE: Additional disc space is required.

Hi! New to this all. From Reddit. I mod a few communities on reddit, nothing big but they are tech related. I know a lot of people on both would want to come over, since everybody is pretty upset with reddit rn.

I just have a few questions maybe somebody could help me with;

Where are instances hosted? Can I host an instance myself?

Our accounts, I heard something about them being cross-platform with some other related websites to this, where are they hosted?

Mastadon's code of conduct says 'Protect our community from harassment, malicious or illegal content', what qualifies as illegal? Something that is illegal in China can be legal in other countries, and vice versa.

I only ask because I see a lot of gray in the rules, which I get is needed, but in the end why have rules if it is all up to the judgement of the particular administrator reviewing the case.
