Thank you for keeping Thumb-Key up to date.

Reading the changes in the latest version, a doubt came to my mind.

How will be handled later, if #44 is implemented, i.e. dictionaries, the relationship between each keyboard scheme with its respective dictionary?

That is, the following come to mind:

  • Would it be automatically associated by the name of the scheme?
  • defined by the user in the configuration? ( en <-> es-thumbkey, en <-> pt-splitkey, an so on).
  • or will it be defined live when typing with a key or gesture to switch keyboard and another to switch dictionaries?

picuki.com for insta, but I don't have any idea for Face

I found this app that can be a good complement to Thumb-Key, e.g. to add "autocompletion" using text shortcuts to quickly write name, address, emails, or entire phrases.

Awesome, seems like Thumb-key is the only FOSS keyboard that is not abandoned, and release new versions continuously.

Florisboard, anysoftkeyboard and openboard haven't released a new version since more than one year.

Kudos Dessalines.

There is some QR scanners made by kaspersky or trendmicro you can use if you have to scan a QR code. Also, you can use URLCheck before open any link before open it: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.trianguloy.urlchecker/

Yeah, I know, but you can run the script several times. :)

Hi, for some reason piped.rocks worked painfully slow for me (I live in Chile). So I decided to write a small script to compare the response from every instance listed on the Wiki of Piped.

For me, the winner was piped.garudalinux.org, but I leave this script here if it is helpful to anyone.

It is not rocket science, and maybe doesn't even meet good practices of programming, but worked for me.

Anyway, thanks, I like LibreTube as an alternative to NewPipe (I alternate between the two, LOL, I don't even use the official Youtube app).

Regards and TGIF

yep, e.g. TypeSplit layouts

leveltype is a typing trainer that puts its focus on spacegrams and forcing you to "unlearn" bad muscle memory.

Nice one. Also an black AMOLED could be cool too.

GNU Aspell have a lot of dictionaries that can be useful for autocompletion and/or correction.

Also, most keyboards have the option to automatically add words to a personal dictionary: tapping them, or just using them more than once.

IFRC some can even import/export the personal dictionary, but doesn't seem to be something that important.
