Your sign assuring me that there are "definitely no more snakes" in the bathroom has made me very concerned about the number of snakes in the bathroom

Ask people what they thought about transit and walkable neighborhoods instead of roads and parking lots everywhere. I usually just ask for opinions and decide from there how much of my "suburbia is a ponzi scheme propped up by state taxpayer money and it is destroying our communities" rant I'll get into with them.

Conservative-minded people are often surprised to hear that pretty much all suburban and rural towns are financially insolvent and were never expected to be self sufficient from the day they were constructed because the tax base is too spread out and small to pay for all the infrastructure like roads, electricity, water etc.

But car-brain is unfortunately pretty bipartisan in this country. Not a lot of Americans have experienced anything but suburban/rural isolation and cars being the only way to be independent. They like their cars.
