Beyoncé has come back with her another concept album on behalf of her "Act" trilogy, a new and surprising style by her artistry, a fusion of the rustic vibe of humble countryside and the spiritual sound of her proud roots.

Nicely, two tracks stand out to me unexpectedly: Dolly Parton's pleasing iconic song turned into a fierce revision "Jolene", and a passionate duet of Beyoncé and Miley Cyrus "II Most Wanted".

When I heard again and jammed with the song "Cruel Summer" on the trends (actually Youtube mostly) few days ago, I thought 1989 TV coming on Oct 27 is about to shine and celebrate. It took a day for me to realize which album this song was released hahaha.

I like this version little more than its original. I prefer its more mellowness to its previous much pop; they're both good to me anyway.

Ed Sheeran's new album is magically pleasant to my first hearing because of his endearing guitar gimmicks as always.

Celebrate still and rediscover the 30th anniversary album from a legendary and highly acclaimed "Hero" singer, Mariah Carey, including unreleased tracks before and her 1993 concert at Proctor's Theatre, NY. An amazing and favorite album to me.

I just find Stephen Sanchez' first ever awaited album enchanting because of certain instruments and a mystical one and a peculiar production/format that I mostly distinguish in 50s–early 60s songs despite of more advanced music technologies typical nowadays (not the old-imitating noise/clipping which I hate why include it?). Nonetheless, let's time travel to the oldies' hops and nifty serenades.

I enjoy first-time listening this album for the first time from Doja Cat 🐈 despite I'd never delved into her discography quite thoroughly. So Impressive.

Me too. First song made me know Ariana Grande.

It's been a year. Still going and playing back again. Never jaded ❤️

Rejoice for a Decade Milestone of Ariana Grande's Album "Yours Truly". 🎉 Nostalgia 🎉

Ariana's coming to town!

And now, while having my Olivia's music marathon still, there's already Billie Eilish's new song "What I Was Made For?". Good treats maybe are coming!!!

I've heard covers of Taylor's. But I'm just looking for music artists/actually new music with that such like hers, just for my current playlists at least. Anyway, nice consideration.

Thanks for this. I will try to listen at least (I'm getting plenty of music suggestions from everyone to listen hahaha I might make feedbacks here probably next 2-3 months depending how serious I'll be analyzing while song repeating—comeback soon hahaha 😅)

I know very selected songs from Sabrina Carpenter because of my little sibling playing on stereo. No idea of her first album.

Ariana's "Sweetener" Album is "god is a woman" and "no tears left to cry" (I never got truly hooked by both on that time long ago, but I will try to listen the whole album you suggested.)

I have heard Foxes' name but I believe I heard one song of her but I don't know the tile.

Anyways thanks and I appreciate this and I'm enjoying knowing artist names suggested by everyone😄.

My real point is on a heading down to middle.

While I'm having a marathon (and mixed playlist created by me) to Olivia Rodrigo music because of her new song "Vampire", I got instantly attached to Billie Eilish's another new song "What I Was Made For?".

I am very sorry if I misuse to say I felt related to that song. I can't describe why I somewhat like that song I now keep repeating.

Ok, I'm getting an understanding of this song lyrics (It's about reflecting herself and her doings if I'm right). Maybe that's why I felt related to this song. But what I really mean to what I really felt related to this song is as if I finally found a music I'm looking for "right now" to listen right now, regardless whether I felt related to lyrics or not (as in my self don't feel related but I see other people or my closed ones feel too or could be). What I mean is I'm looking for a "current" music that can push my emotions (whether sad/music/angry/whatever) as long as it matches with the present situation I'm experiencing or I'm seeing around. Getting desired emotions from current music compatible to contemporary reality.

I mean that what I see today is what a music should sound I suppose. What's happening right now, whether good or bad is what a current music should play.

I'm not saying I want sad music, especially I don't like sad music because it makes me sad (of course it's sad music). Also, it doesn't mean sad music for this time, as current/upcoming songs can be angry or happy music, just depending on the today's events. I mean new music is what's happening to me or everyone else or everywhere right now.

That's what I mean I felt related to Billie's new song right now, so I keep repeating and included on my current playlists I'm now getting difficult to compile and complete.

Very sorry if it's not right to post this here on popheads (it might be supposed to post on popheads circle jerk or pop culture chat I wish).

I'm having a marathon (in my free and chill time) to Olivia Rodrigo's music because I'm getting hooked by her latest song "Vampire" just like how I got hooked by "Driver's License" and "Deja vu".

it's hard to say I like it, as it's still fresh as of now, so let me see few months later. But to understand my criteria, I still listen to "Until I Found You" by Stephen Sanchez even this week, after I discovered it last November. So, I definitely like his song, one of the few songs I like in the present since 2020 that I put in my repeating playlists.

I like most of his songs of every album of his, that I could make a mini playlist sung all by him (But I still have plenty of unpolished playlists that I'm still editing only in my chill times).

I miss (did not attempt) to listen Plastic Hearts by Miley Cyrus on its release week (so I will consider this), yet I've listened "Endless Summer Vacation" but only "Flowers" is the song I put one of my current (2020s) playlists I mostly play.

I've never heard of Rainbow by Kesha (I now check that it was released in 2017).

I'm having a marathon of Olivia Rodrigo right now because of her song "Vampire". I haven't yet fully discovered Lana Del Rey but have heard little very few songs (I don't know it was sung) by her on my younger brother's playlists.

I have no idea who's Phoebe Bridgers. I didn't notice Taylor Swift have at least introduced her audience Phoebe.

I might make a feedback here about "Drugs With Friends" by Car Seat Headrest, "The Old Gospel Choir" by Modern Baseball and "Twin Size Mattress" by The Front Bottoms you shared me, if I ever like with an insight of how/why. I also listen to those kind of music. I'm very fine listening to anything as I like a diversity of music, but I'm very selective of liking those kind as very few of them really captures my attention despite gloomy or lowkey or plain or somewhat-indie compositions (It doesn't mean I don't like indie band sounds, but I have heard awesome songs having somewhat plain composition/singing/playing in an impressive way). As long as good (tickling) to my ear, as long as the musicality seesaws my listening/emotions, that's where I ever like a song.

Still, thanks so much for this response at least 😄.

I enjoyed "Levitating" and "We're Good" that nearly match my hooking/repetition by "New Rules" and "IDGAF" (when I was at 2016) which is way considerably ~~ouch old~~ a past in my music listening (actually not playing in my current playlists always, just only for nostalgia). "Levitating" and "We're Good" are also becoming less to my listening history.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 year ago

That's many. I will listen and delve in one by one every time I'm free to chill and listen. I might give you my feedback long soon (at most 2-3 months depending on my hooking and appreciative analysis) after if I get what I like.

Despite I have a younger brother who put his playlist on stereo so letting me hear his music probably sung by new/current artists, only "Charlie XCX" is the artist among them right now whom I know and listen.

Still, thanks so much for this response, at least I have an idea about who are the new/current artists at present 😄.

I like the songs and its vibe/soul when listening Taylor Swift's early albums.

Whether those are country or pop or teen or love songs, I really (and still) get hooked by its melodies & sounds/instruments. Its really awesome lyrics and its story by her still amaze me.

So, her songs has really influenced my musical preference especially when growing up.

I'm still looking for new music/song/album or new/current other music artists with that kind such as hers—

So if you could introduce to me to search, Are there any other "new" music or new/current artists with that kind such as hers (likely endorsed by her as I already consider her a great artist)?

It does not have to be so much similar to her songs. (So it can be grunge, ballad or urban) I'm referring to the "vibe/soul/sound/something I can't clearly describe sorry" upon the songs that she's singing/playing.

So to understand what I'm referring to, here are selected current songs I like and still keep playing are:

  1. "Until I Found You" by Stephen Sanchez (way mostly among the current ones, I'm single 😉 btw—what I mean is that song is a sentimental love song for rejoicing love couples, and I felt attached even I don't have a girlfriend.)
  2. "Here With Me" by d4vd (becoming less frequently)
  3. "Spark" by Ed Sheeran (becoming less frequently)
  4. "Foolish One" by Taylor Swift
  5. "Vampire" by Olive Rodrigo (I'm not sure as I'm getting hooked right now)
  6. "Say So" by Doja Cat (becoming less frequently)
  7. ... That's it I can fondly recall. I have tried to think from 2020 farther. But that's it I bravely mentioned.
