I've got the same one! How do you like it? Unfortunately mine doesn't get much play because it's so freaking neck heavy. Love the Duncan pickups in it though.

Appreciate it! Since posting the DS-1W has gone back on in place of the Friedman. Sometimes fewer parameters is better as the Friedman lends itself really well to spending all my time tweaking rather than playing.
Lately it has been mostly funk, jazz, and rock; so a healthy dose of players like Mark Lettieri and Cory Wong. On the heavier, more progressive side Plini has been a go to for me.
Thank you! I'll eventually get some funny business in with a phaser or something.
Thanks!
The Amulet has built in attenuation with 1/5/15 W settings, so I guess it's dependent on where you set it and how much volume you need. I have noticed (and this is confirmed by Supro's product page for the amp, so it's probably by design) that it tends to break up starting about half way on the volume, but this amp can get fairly loud and "half way" is beyond where I ever need it at the moment even at the 1W setting. Unfortunately, I don't have any band or gigging experience to speak to, but I would assume that even it those volumes it would still keep up without much break up. There is also the Royale which is essentially the step up from the Amulet and it runs at 50W and I have heard it's pretty killer.
The Carbon Copy, yeah, I looked at other options and still came back to it. : P
There's a Slurm Zero commercial in the middle of the episode and he's old in it, hence the comment/question. 😅
Isn't Slurms MacKenzie dead?
I had one and ended up returning it... To me it was too "overdrive-y" and not enough fuzzy. Plus, it seemed like a pedal that really wanted to be loud, which could have been part of my issue with it, but in an apartment bedroom can't really be accommodated.
Schecter might be worth a look, too. There are interesting models in that price range like the Nick Johnston and Jack Fowler traditionals.
