Heard this poem for the first time a couple of years ago and learnt to my delight that an old name for long-tailed tits is 'bumbarrels' - it comes from the way they form their nests. You've captured some lovely images - not easy as they 'flit down the hedgerows' at a fair lick in my experience! Always a joy to see them on the feeders ๐
