Sounds neat, did you make the tepache yourself? If so, what was your process?

It definitely was strong. I made a double that my wife and I shared and she was quite gone from it. Next time will certainly split the rum but I do love the taste of OFTD!

We have a local grocer that has a machine to make almond butter from only 100% roasted almonds that made the orgeat process much easier.

Got this mug from Tiki Farm.

2oz Plantation OFTD 0.5oz Dry Curacao 0.75oz lime 0.5oz orgeat

Shaken with ice and then garnished with mint.

The lime I had was short of a full ounce of juice so I didn't add any extra simple syrup. Plantation OFTD packs a wallop in this drink so I hope to have an agricole to split the rum with next time!

Used the recipe in Mixel but with regular vodka. Might tweak the final recipe next time since I'm not using citrus vodka to be:

1oz vodka

3/4oz triple sec

0.5 oz lime

1 oz cranberry juice

House sweetened cranberry juice:

3 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon water

3 cups 100% cranberry juice not from concentrate

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Made the honey into a syrup with the water then mixed into the other ingredients.

The coupe is the Wolcott Optic 7-Oz. Coupe Glass from Crate&Barrel

I finally got glassware so now I don't have to make everything in either a pint glass or rocks glass!

I think I'm going to make my own sweetened cranberry juice from 100% juice and possibly make cosmos in the new coupes!

Ooo love a paper plane. Enjoy!

Maybe cut the limoncello and aperol down to 0.5 each to balance with the lemon? Also seems like it could be good with gin instead of vodka.

Or could even do an equal parts drink like corpse reviver #2 or paper plane. Or maybe making it long with soda could cut the sweetness too.

Sounds like a great starting point though!
