Apparently the blood oxygen sensor is patent-encumbered.

Solid state batteries get here when they get here, and ignore the hype. Over the decades I don't recall that I've ever heard a breathless battery announcement that's going to change the world, and then had that battery technology pan out when scaled to industrial levels. IOW, yeah, I'll believe it when I see it.

Buy what you need today, otherwise you're likely to "wait 3-4 years" and then, oops, those batteries are still five years away (as they always seem to be) and now you've waited nine years while driving a twenty (well, closer to thirty now) year old car.

Apple surely can see the complete catalog of The Who that I have in my library, including the vinyl albums that I've ripped. Not that the Music app could see it, but Apple could also see the eye-watering amounts of money we've spent on tickets to watch 75 year old men prance around on stage (via the tickets from the last three tours in Wallet).

So what's the first song played on this new Discovery station? "Who Are You?" by...wait for it...The Who. Whether you're a Who fan or not, is there anyone walking this planet over the age of 21 that hasn't heard that song?

My parents retired from GM, and get a discount on vehicles I can use. So sign me up for a 2024 Chevy Blazer EV. Wait, what? No CarPlay?

We are enjoying our 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 very much, thanks for asking. We especially enjoy the CarPlay integration. :-) It has been disappointing watching GM, year after year, get to the five yard line and then fumble.

I worked at Microsoft at the time, and much ass was busted to implement fixes and test our product (with other teams doing the same, I assume) before the rollover occurred. On call as the clock ticked over to midnight in our time zone, and...I ended up playing Age of Empires for eight hours because nothing happened.

But don't be fooled: nothing happened because of the tremendous amount of work done beforehand to make sure nothing happened.
