I feel like I missed out on something. There was a Neo-Nazi instance? Not surprising I guess, but whoa.

Welp, the clothes on the line are now wet. I should've brought them in earlier. Oh well.
I've only somewhat recently-ish gotten into vinyl records. My first vinyl was actually Visions of Bodies Being Burned by Clipping. But I've always eyed the Yellow Submarine vinyl for YEARS but never getting it because a) Centrelink money and b) we didn't have a record until I got mum one for Christmas two or so years ago. But I actually recently bought it and am super happy with it (Yellow Submarine was the first song my Nana introduced me to so it's pretty sentimental for my love of The Beatles but also my Nana, but funnily enough, Yellow Submarine isn't my favourite album).
That is true, good plan there. Mum and I will often belt out Beatles or Queen when we're driving together.
That is true. I mean yeah, it's very different to what they've done, it definitely feels more like a John song, like akin to Imagine, but I can see why it doesn't really feel like a Beatles song.
Understandable. I ended up buying the vinyl for it. Though had to get it through their actual website which cost me $44 inclu. shipping, as the local Australian store that they're partnered with sold out (JB Hi-Fi also doesn't have it). So more expensive, but it's the clear version and considering that that included shipping... not bad.
But yeah, mum and I love it. But I also understand why some might be apprehensive about it.
Also, I didn't scream about it on Thursday + Friday. But did anyone listen to the new Beatles song? I really like it, I know a lot of people don't and that's fair. I mean it's moreso a John song but I know he wrote it and was going to give it to Paul as a "comeback" song, but obviously Paul changed some parts and the fact that it was originally not a great sound to begin with. But I think that it's a really nice send off.
The music video is very cheesy though, and tonally all over the place. But that's kind of what The Beatles are, they will have some very horny lyrics in an otherwise romantic song. Or they have some fantastic songs like on Revolver there's Here, There and Everywhere but then the next song is Yellow Submarine. So while jarring, the music video really sort of suits the vibe. What do y'all think? Here's just the audio and here's the music video.
I hated experiencing that when my ex-stepdad used to live with us. It always gives me such uncomfortable feelings and so jarring too.
Glad he's not here any more, though not saying that I myself am perfect, but doing my best to unlearn a lot of it that's just imbued in our culture. So I sympathise with you a lot.
I'm happy to work from home today (boss didn't see the point in coming into work today if tomorrow will be a day off, so still working, just don't have to put on a bra which is great). But man... being distracted because I want to do other things.
I don't know how I would've gone if I did this during the lockdowns.
Volunteering helps. I've made so many friends from working at PAX (a gaming convention), and what's great is that PAX is also an American show, so I've made not only Australian friends but Americans too!
Oh man with the announcement of this new Beatles song, I will be insufferable!
Yeah stomps and heavy footsteps aren't necessarily a trigger so to speak but I do get, weird feelings.
Welp, good thing I'm not with Optus regarding the Internet. Now phone service...
I let my boss know, I should be able to get an uber to work, but I can't receive any calls or text which will be fun when I go home. I'll have to order the uber while in the office because the wifi doesn't extend very far.
