Don't take this the wrong way, but Lemmy isn't really made for interacting with things like Mastodon. Sure, people can interact with it, but it's very convoluted.

Like seriously how the hell do you navigate it? Out of curiosity I made an account on a small instance and had no idea how to even find even my subscribed magazines. It might look might look nice but it's confusing to use.

Updating Available Communities (burggit.moe)
 

So I have to wonder, is there a way to update some of the communities on the Community tab? I know that we had a lot of defederation, and of course some of those communities, while outdated, still appear on the list. Would be nice to be able to cull them so we're not leading people into getting their hopes up.
