I think one thing that we have tried to be very, very, very intentional about is we are not Elon, we're not trying to be that, we're not trying to go down that same path. Nice idea.

Global and local votes is an interesting idea, reflective of echo chamber vs general consensus.

Not sure how effective it would be in addressing the point raised by OP, but it might have value in its own right.

 

I could clean it but it would just get dirty again.
