Yeah, I feel you. I've taken a similar approach with about 1.5h per day, but having a variety of activities to do each day. I usually do flashcards, writing a (quite) short text (see my post history) and if I still feel like it, watch some TV-shows, play games or read something. This way I can keep it relatively fresh and engaging.

Btw, what languages are you guys learning? (Is "guys" a gender-neutral pronoun yet? If not, what would you recommend?)

Yesterday I tried to update my nix flake but the rebuild-switch failed when it came time to install the following python3 derivation with some extra python packages:

(python3.withPackages(ps: with ps; [ numpy scipy matplotlib pandas notebook ]))

The problematic package is "notebook" and building fails with the following error:

error: builder for '/nix/store/crxnqidkwkgxm9s7ahkhvilx1cisrki6-python3.10-jupyter-server-2.0.6.drv' failed with exit code 1;
       last 10 log lines:
       >     pyfuncitem.obj(**testargs)

The very same python derivation worked like 2 weeks ago but now suddenly doesn't work anymore. I'm quite lost trying to troubleshoot this problem so any help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: So far I've tried the "jupyter" package instead of the "notebook" package, installed it through the unstable channel and tried to install "jupyterlab" as an alternative, but to no avail.

File permissions on mounted drive - can read/write but can't drag into apps? in c/[email protected]

Not sure if this is related or not but when I was unable to open media files (that were stored on my SMB server) in VLC (also got permission denied) I solved it by installing "kio-fuse".

Hope you figure it out.

I'd simply ask:
"Gibt es hier weitere geflüchtete Frauen?"
The use of "weitere" implies that you yourself are a woman.
"Flüchtling" an sich enthält keine Information über das Geschlecht der Person.

Wenn das Geschlecht klar sein soll, kannst du z.B. "eine Geflüchtete" bzw. "ein Geflüchteter" sagen.

Ich bin ein Reddit-Flüchtling. Gibt es ~~ein weibliches~~ hier auch Frauen? Ich bin eine Frau. Ich bin seit mehr als drei ~~Woche~~ Wochen ~~heir~~ hier ~~sein~~. Ich finde das Fediversum ~~mehr freundlich~~ freundlicher. Für mich sind die Leute das Beste. (Was ist hier besser? Menschen oder Leute?)

"Leute" passt hier besser. "Menschen" würde man z.B. verwenden, wenn man von Menschen und Tieren spricht.

知ってる慣用句は少ないけど、「死んだ魚の目」という慣用句が好き（英語の意味は「thousand-yard stare」それとも「empty eyes」）。
