@soupcat Probably the fact that Google presents Android as an open, level playing field, when in reality it isn't, whereas Apple is not misleading customers or developers in this case (they just say "fuck you no alternative app stores for you").

@NoTime @meta I am looking into this now, but currently this only seems to impact instances with local custom emojis, which I have not yet enabled (and obviously will not now) on lemmy.one, so we should be unaffected by this issue.

@TheSageRedneck I mean, this is one of the main goals with the disabled downvotes in the first place actually, which makes me think the system is working. I’d much prefer actual racist posts be reported rather than merely downvoted.
