I don't think so. The hostages they've released so far are either dual citizens of Israel and another country, or they're just too old to keep as hostages like these two. Then there's the fact that these hostages keep fucking up the Israeli narrative that all the hostages are being tortured (or whatever evil shit theyre projecting onto Hamas) by saying they were treated very well.

Yeah people always say that generations don't exist only class. But when in history has there been a generation that has it as good as the baby boomers? Their entire generation is defined by the fact that they enjoyed the spoils of the post WW2 world order while the majority of the industrialized world lay in ruins, and we're supposed to ignore that?

That alone is enough to make me believe they're almost all soldiers because there's no way the Israeli public would be OK with the IOF wiping out their own women and children, whereas for IOF troops that's already been the policy.
