Thanks! I'll look into it.

Thanks! I didn't know about it. I like that is open source. I'd have to look into how to sync it with my computer.

Any features you think google tasks lacks? Do you use the free or the paid version of todoist?

I use it because I haven't yet found any alternative that works as well. Any recommendations?

Is BookWyrm like an alternative to Goodreads? I hadn't heard of it, is it good?

I'm lucky my plants never get sick from any disease / pests nor do bunnies feed on them. If they die, it's most likely from my incompetence. We do get the occasional hail storm tho

Is there any variety you recommend for its taste in case I ever decide to grow my own tomatoes? I'd never seen as many different ones as in your picture lol. I'll eat tomato mostly in salads. Also, I live in Southern Europe so our weather should be pretty similar to SoCal.

I like your reasoning. This was absolutely my fault though, since I left it outside in 40°C degree weather (+100°F for Americans) knowing I wouldn't come back in a few days. I thought it would fare well since it's supposed to be a desert plant and I'd read they don't need to be watered each day. Screw that, from then on I water my succulents everyday in the summer, the weather here is brutal 😭

Anybody else really sensitive about their plants dying? I know they're not sentient, but still...

Originally, the succulent was the size of my palm. It had been doing great, but after leaving for a few days I came back to find it completely dried out except for the tip which still had a bit of green.

I can't stand when any of my plants die, I feel like I have failed them ☹️. So I took the tip, removed all the dried leaves and placed it in a new pot. The stem was dead too and the plant had zero roots in the middle of summer. I had to spray it with water constantly and be extremely careful until it rehydrated and grew some roots. Took a long time, but I'm glad it's healthy now!

Here lunch is our biggest meal of the day and usually around 2 or 3 pm. Most people will have lunch at home, even if they have to go back to work later and many eat a small meal between "breakfast" and lunch. But most people either won't eat anything for what you'd call breakfast or just have some coffee and toast/pastries. I really don't know anybody who wakes up and immediately starts cooking.

I'm southern european and some of these answers are giving me culture shock... Normally, a coffee would get me through the day until lunch and, if I'm especially hungry, I'll eat some pastries too. But the thought of having to eat plenty of eggs or anything that involves cooking so soon after waking up is giving me upset stomach. I realize this may not be healthiest option tho

Well then ur neighbors are so lucky because those look really good. I imagine they taste far better than any you can find at the store

There are different opinions on Beehaw's registration process. I kind of see how some people would find it dissuasive, specially after most of us are coming from Reddit. But I still think it's very practical, at least for the time being.

Btw, this is only my opinion as a new user, I don't know any of the admins/mods. Link to my original comment.

So this was 10 years ago, lol. How the tables have turned
