they are good books but each one is so massive I feel somewhat exhausted just considering starting one

I got the first three bundled in a single ebook. It took me 4 months to finish!

After his record setting kickstarter, I read The Final Empire... boy I didn't realize that my reading list was going to be overtaken by Sanderson books for the next 18 months as a caught up on the Cosmere stories. I've only got a couple more and then I can finally read some other authors! XD

I think it might be ok if some instances decide to run ads. Someone has to pay for the server costs, and ads are an option.

The great thing about the Fediverse is you can move to a different instance if you don't like it :)
