Hello fellow exmuslim, you part of Colony discord sever?

Edit:Just realized my comment sounds like a bot so as to disprove that: I hate going to tearaway cuz i can barely sit on the floor as is for normal prayer, thankfully no one is forcing me to go and I dont have to fast cuz i use diabetes as my excuse(It was a miracle that i left Islam around the same time as i got my diabetes )

I was thinking about this today. Where there stories in the past where the magic world and the normal world separate. The only Olden times stories i know of are myths and religious stories and i don't think those count since people already believed in the magic world, so no reason to say the everyday people where not aware of the magical world(except in cases like religion). I remember watching an OSP video(Trope Talk: Save The World). She talks about how The concept of the world or even a world being a modern day thing. People use to live in secluded areas from one another and so had no knowledge of a world, Most stories back than involved saving villages or towns or even islands. In Modern Marvel, all kinds of Magical worlds exist and normal people know of them and still go on about there day(Granted Most of those magical world revealed themselves to in modern time as not fuck up history). That's the only case of i know where both the magical world and the normal world exist side by side with everyday people knowing about them. What are your thoughts?

I am not sure actually, I know i have ADHD plus maladaptive daydreaming, both self-diagnosed(Getting officially diagnosed where i am is not an option) and generally consider myself neurodivergent. I dont feel like i have a problem with social cues though

In our money game we use the paper money to pay rent, at least with yard work its a hobby for some adults. I dont think most adults consider paying rent a hobby

I used to sleep with notebooks and stationary under my pillows as kid, no matter how uncomfortable it was. Me and Sister would play office and money games with paper we cut into pieces and we even made a sign for the office, i wanted to work in an office so bad it wasn't unreal

he fact that you can find 3 to 5 people in your lineage that died of that does point to it being inherited

It does though? like it doesn't have to be 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt genetic like say type 1 diabetes, and with everything else it most likely is

are demonstrated to have a heredity component

I am of the believe that most health issues are genetic, be it mutation or hereditary. I haven't looked into it much but from experience ppl tend to believe most diabetes are caused by being overweight(or general life style) and that's no the case in my experience. I feel believing its life style choices hurts ppl more in the long run than it helps(the number of arguments i got with non-diabetes ppl about my own diabetes for example)

But also like what does this have to do with anything?

Heart disease runs in families. Nope.

the OG commenter said it doesn't runs in families and we both agree it can, why does it matter whether it runs specifically in my family or not. People with health issues know about their own medical history, when someone tells you heart disease run in the family, take them at their word(plus they probably talked to doctors and what not)

I dont follow, if you are talking about lifestyle choices there is really inst any similarity, neither in weight, eating habits or work or living conditions .My grandma and grandpa lived in a village until there 40s. Also heart disease is not the only genetic disease in the family. Both my mom and her mom had ovary cancer.Diabetes runs in the family both type 1 and type ,both sets of grandparents and both there siblings and parents, both sets of aunts and uncles, me and my sisters plus alot other relatives. My grandma(father's side) had bipolar, so does my uncle so does my sister and all of this is just counting genetic disease and not everything else like baldness(both me and my uncle started at 16), i have a single string of blonde hair growing in exactly the middle of my forehead and so does my aunt's daughter(our moms are twins) and we both have a baby tooth that steal didnt follow at our 20s with the adult one growing behind them

plus we aren't from America.

Can be on anything really some ideas for book topics:

  • Metaphors and they effect us in the modern day
  • The limits and problems with translation and beauty from fault
  • How capitalism effects our language and relations
  • The tyranny of the Dictionary
  • Philosophy relationship with language
  • How language effect love
  • How therapy talk can be suffocating
  • Language and colonialism
  • The Language of religion

I have been thinking about language more and more recently and how we use it and want to read some theory on it

I watch this Zoe bee video a little over a month ago. Talking about how we use metaphors to grasp abstract concepts, how we use it in our daily life and how we use as map, in our politics and so on. Something imo she didn't focus enough is the metaphor we forget were ever metaphors(fun fact: the word "metaphor" has the world "meta"). This use one here, its like the three fishes with water. You see it so much you forgot it ever existed.

Someone like Gab smolders, not over the top reactions, with long videos. Gab does a lot of Nacy Drew and Hidden objects games which i don't really like. She also multiplier games with easysmall but not often as i would like. SMii7Y does mostly multiplier but his videos too vulgar for my taste.
