I don't think this about your anonimity but rather theirs, plus the benefits of increased censorship resistance.

I see, thanks! I know that Mastodon has this account migration feature which I think is a really neat protection against servers going astray. It'd be nice to have a similar feature on Lemmy such that communities can stick together while moving from one server to another, when need be.

 

How can I migrate my community form one instance to another keeping (1) my subscribers and (2) the post (and comment) history? Is it even possible?
